It starts with an introduction to tire force and moment generation mechanisms and how they're used for modeling and analysis of vehicle handling dynamics, details vehicle ride dynamics, provides details on the use of finite element method for tire model development, provides a detailed understanding of tire materials and constitutive models, gives an overview of tire rolling resistance and vehicle fuel economy, and provides detailed technical information about footprint mechanics.
